My first concert and still my favorite. I was at Georgia Tech as a Work/Study Freshman and had cheap nose-bleed seats in the as-yet-unused baseball stadium. The Beatles' previous concert had been the famous one filmed at Shea Stadium. | ||

Alas, I never got closer than 12 miles to Yasgur's Farm. Scott and I ditched the car but hiked against a tide of retreating burn-outs. Choppers throbbed overhead and we realized the impossible fantasy of a Sunday ticket to Woodstock and fled. | ||
